Hi, I’m Olia.
I am a UX Designer with a deep-rooted background in Instructional Design and EdTech. For the past several years, I’ve focused on a single mission: taking complex information and restructuring it into intuitive, accessible learning experiences.

My Approach: Logic meets Empathy
My design philosophy is shaped by a unique intersection of disciplines. With a background in Gestalt psychotherapy training, I approach user research through the lens of human perception and "here-and-now" behavior. My experience as a professional proofreader and IT recruiter means I bring a rigorous, systematic eye to UI kits and a practical understanding of stakeholder needs.

Designing for the "Non-Ideal" Scenario
I don't believe in designing for perfect conditions. I advocate for inclusive design—creating interfaces that work for neurodivergent learners, people under stress, and users on low-bandwidth mobile devices. I find joy in spotting friction, simplifying navigation, and iterating until a system feels truly supportive.

Why Accessibility is Personal
My interest in inclusive design started at home. My grandfather was a blind programmer who navigated the world of early computing with sheer persistence. Watching him and his friends struggle to bridge the gap between their expertise and the friction of early screen readers taught me a permanent lesson: Technology is only as powerful as it is accessible. Today, I design with the 'non-ideal' scenario in mind, ensuring that interfaces empower users of all abilities rather than sidelining them.

Beyond the Screen
When I’m not working, you’ll find me studying my fifth language (currently Swedish), working out, or managing the chaotic energy of my three rescue cats. Based in Ternopil, Ukraine, I am looking to bring my blend of pedagogical logic and visual creativity to a forward-thinking EdTech or product team.
